The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is an excellent option for those looking for a mid-priced robot vacuum and mop. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but it lacks the features that make up its more expensive sibling.
During tests it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from medium-pile carpets. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.
1. iRobot Roomba S9+
The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It comes with a variety of features and impressive cleaning power, including the dirt compartment built into the charging base. The robot also learns your cleaning habits and suggest schedules that are automatic for a truly hands-free experience.
The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning process at the click of the button. You can choose an overall clean that focuses on the removal of larger debris such as cereal and rice. Or you can select two detailed mappings to ensure that your entire home is thoroughly cleaned.
This robot vac performs well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. automatic vacuum cleaner can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as some other models and can pick up pet hair with ease. It's a challenge with carpets that are high-pile or plush however, iRobot claims that future models will be better.
The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that is focused on improving the edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which will allow it to hug furniture and walls. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are widely used however we found it to be just marginally better than circular models.
iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with superior filtration, which prevents microscopic particles and allergens recirculating in your home. It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price cost.
Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to remember the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map the interior of your home. It then cleans your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, as well as create virtual boundaries, so it is aware of areas that require more attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
When it is about robots that combine mopping and vacuuming, the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vac settings are as effective as those of higher-end models and its mopping feature is even better. Its spinning pads do a better job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.
The only drawback is that it does not have a second rubber brush for deeper cleaning, but it's an affordable cost to pay for if you want to get one of the best robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank also bigger than those on many of its rivals and takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the highest dirt level.
For the mopping device, I was awestruck with its ability to scrub off the tough dirt off my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest, which are less aggressive than the higher-powered ones create minimal noise, allowing you to work or even watch TV without interruption. If it comes across a wall or piece of furniture, it gently bumps into it and moves on.
What really distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly completely on its own, with no need for user intervention. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and will automatically move garbage into a bin hidden. It also cleans, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app will only notify you when something is wrong, such as low water levels or a canceled vacuuming session due to an empty bin.
You can also create and combine actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo will treat your home. This feature is beneficial when you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or in the event that you have to regularly remove clutter, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, picking up debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can also vacuum up wet spills but I would suggest wiping them dry with a cloth before sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that comes with all the features you could want. It has the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with an automatic cleaning station that washes and empties the mop pads, keeping them clean and ready to be reused. It also comes with a sensor that recognizes obstacles better which allows it to avoid falling on furniture or other objects.
The most notable improvement to the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its sleeker, modern design. This is thanks to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still large--it measures over two feet in both height and depth, and weighs in at least four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.
This version is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and can clean 1,500 square feet in one charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris, making it easier to empty it when needed.
Additionally it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and an assistant voice that works offline, allowing you to use it even if you're away from home. It also has a smart routing function that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of following a predetermined path.
The X2 Omni is the most effective mopping robot. Its mop pads that rotate scrub away tough stains, and its motor generates a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent too, and it boosts suction when it senses carpet to ensure it's doing an excellent job. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as effective as anything we've seen in the market for a consumer robot.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality mop and vacuum robot that comes with a variety of convenience features that you do not often find on robots of this price. It can create detailed floor maps and identify different types of flooring. It's also among the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. While these features are great however, they also push the L10s Ultra into the category of luxury which could make it slightly more expensive than the average homeowner need.
The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's tall and slim, with a white finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is adorned with an enormous bumper that shields the vacuum cleaner and furniture while moving around your home. Behind the pane at the front is an additional navigation technology in the form of sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top of the vacuum there is a single button that acts as an on/off switch. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, and clicking it again will turn off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The circular menu in the center of the control panel allows users to select cleaning options, schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons will allow you to access the settings in the app, which allow you to customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.
The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of cameras and LIDAR technology to map out your home. This creates a precise floor plan that helps the robot vacuum and mop effectively and avoid getting stuck in cluttered areas. The LIDAR also assists the robot vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles which is a great feature for households with pets or children.
The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner, which removes 98.4 percent of the debris we test on hard floors and taking out all but stubborn juice staining. The mops are also efficient, taking away 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our wood, tile, and carpet tests. It wasn't as effective at removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
